Our guide Karen absolutely made this tour - she was funny, knowledgeable and so professional too. We learned about volcanoes, glaciers and Icelandic legends along the way, so even though it’s quite a long day, it was never dull, and Karen balanced the commentary just perfectly. This is a great day trip as we also saw nesting puffins in the cliffs, horses on the beach, we drove through the absolutely surreal and beautiful landscape and then got dropped off really close to where we were staying.
